Super Mom

Some days I feel like I really have this mom of three kids under three thing down and other days I wonder what I was thinking adding another little person to this house before the girls were ten!  I just tell myself that it won't be like this forever.  Babies get on schedules, start sleeping all night, eating real food…but for now, our days are full of ups and downs.  As a mom, it's easy to take credit for the ups and feel guilty about the downs, even though much if it is just like a wild ride and the only thing to take credit for is holding on!  Here's some moments for the last month:

Holding a sleeping baby (in a carrier), washing dishes, and reading Emily a story all at the same time.

The bathroom rugs got peed on 3 weeks ago and they are still in the laundry room.

Super, mom. (cue eye roll)

Making a healthy dinner of salmon, quinoa, and vegetables that my toddlers ate up.

Throwing some cheerios in a bowl and letting them eat snack in front of the TV.

Super, mom.  

Getting both toddlers down for nap, standing up while pumping and swinging a baby in a surprisingly heavy car seat to get her to sleep and still being right on time for my doctor's appointment.

Forgetting to go to the doctor the first time I scheduled it.

Super, mom.

Putting together an umbrella and raindrop painting project for the big girls to do on a rainy day.

Taking a shower and trying unsuccessfully to care about the tantrum on the other side of the door.

Getting all three out of the house alone to see some newly hatched baby chicks.

SUPERMOM!

Sending Barry an instant message that only says, "Save me."

Writing this blog post while feeding a baby.
